Youth Career
Perišić grew up supporting Hajduk Split, so he enrolled in the youth team where he played exceptionally. A number of clubs such as Hamburger SV, Ajax, Hertha BSC, Anderlecht, and PSV were interested in him. Perišić played only one match with Hajduk, a 3-0 win against Smederevo.
