The incomes of Barcelona players, who also helped to pay for club employees’ salaries, were cut by 70%. Juventus’ players and manager consented to a four-month wage decrease, which would result in a $105.6 million cost savings for the team in the 2019–20 fiscal year.
Simeone is by far the highest-paid coach in sports, earning a gross yearly pay of around $49.28 million. He will still be paid approximately $14.8 million this season, despite a wage cut of 70%.
