Clara Chukwurah was schooled in Lagos for her elementary and nursery school before relocating to Onitsha for her secondary level at Queen of the Rosary College.

She then went on to Obafemi Awolowo University, Department of Dramatic Arts to study Acting and Speech, where her humanitarian activities were well recognized and she was awarded the United Nations Peace Ambassador in Africa.

Clara’s acting career kickstarted in 1980 but she became well known after appearing in the soap series “mirror in the Sun.”Also, at the Burkina Faso film festival FESPACO, she became the first Nigerian to win Best Actress in 1982.

As a businesswoman, she is currently the CEO of Capital Dreams a creative production company.
