Originally from Esan North-East LGA, Edo state, Ini Dima-Okojie was birthed on the 24th of June, 1990 in Lagos state to her father who was a medical doctor, and her mother who was an entrepreneur and retired banker. Ini obtained her basic education at the Air Force primary school, Lagos, and then completed her secondary education at the  Air Force comprehensive secondary school, Ibadan.

Career

Dima-Okojie started her path to success in the Nollywood industry by first working as a production assistant on the crew of the movie Before 30. She got her initial acting role in Taste of Love. In the 2016 movie, North East, she acted as Hadiza Ahmed, a role for which she was nominated for Best Actress in a Supporting Role at the Nigeria Entertainment Awards in 2017. Still, in 2016, Dima appeared in the following movies: Skinny Girl in Transit, 5ive, and It’s her day. 

In 2018, Ini Dima was featured in Sylvia and Funke. The following year, she acted in Oga Pastor as Laitan Gesinde. Smart Money Woman, released in 2020, saw the talented actress playing the role of Tami. Dima also portrayed the characters of Didi and Sarah in the movies, Namaste Wahala and Blood Sisters, in 2021 and 2022 respectively.
